Started training in Tang Soo Do in 2002, originally just to keep fit, after his daughter (aged 7 at the time) was introduced to a class and he got hooked too. Having trained under Master Mike Allen and Master Lesley Allen at Impington TSD, he tested for his black belt in 2005, qualified as an instructor in 2007 and, in 2008, tested for and received his second Dan black belt and in 2012 his Sam Dan. In 2018 he was awarded his Sah (4th) Dan Masters belt by Grandmaster Beaudoin. He has successfully competed in competitions at National and International levels and has represented Great Britain at European and World Championship competitions, having gained gold medals at all three levels of competition. Master Crockett runs his own business consultancy in Cambridge and, after many years in the World Tang Soo Do Association, is proud to be a co-instructor with Mr Halliday.
Bill Halliday (Sam Dan)
Mr Halliday is a co-founding instructor of Cherry Hinton Tang Soo Do and began his training in July 2003. After many years of playing football in the Cambridge leagues he decided to take a very early retirement and along with a friend, entered a do Jang with a desire to learn something new and to stay fit. After he had developed a passion for the art his wife and two daughters later joined Impington TSD and they now all train and attend competitions together. Mr Halliday gained his first Dan black belt in May 2007 and qualified as an instructor in January 2008 having spent almost two years developing his teaching techniques. He received his second Dan in 2010 and his Sam Dan in 2014. Mr Halliday has also taken gold medals at the World Championships. Mr Halliday has managed his own kitchen design and manufacturing business since November 2004 and is also a big fan of Liverpool football club for his sins. He is proud to be a co-instructor with Master Crockett at both Cambridge South TSD and Cherry Hinton TSD.
